I like the aesthetics of the comp way better but is it worth losing bullet velocity, 2 mags, and $50? The barrel on the X-Macro Comp is the same 3.1 inch as the original standard model. It does not extend to the end of the slide so comp cuts on the slide are beyond the barrel and does act as a comp. Rather than screwing a comp on the end of a threaded barrel, in the XMacro Comp it is built into the slide.
