CHOKE TUBE Never fire or run gun cleaning tools through a barrel that uses choke tubes without having a choke tube installed. The threads of the choke tube and the internal threads of the barrel should be cleaned after each use and before installation of the tube. To install a tube, insert the tube into the barrel and tighten with your fingers.
