Is 85 questions on nclex good.
The line is considered to be basic nursing knowledge. The lady who was doing our NCLEX review said that theortically you can miss 25 out of 75 questions or 1/3 of the test as long as your above that line. I used solely BoardVitals questions from ATI, the ATI NCLEX prep book, and Saunders 8th edition. I started off doing five 10 question quizzes per day for 50 questions total per day. Then bumped it up to five 20 question quizzes per day for 100 questions total per day. I ended with doing four 25 question quizzes per day for 100 questions total ...Once I passed 85 questions and it didn’t shut off, I felt defeated and sad. I took a break, and came back to it. Near the very end, the questions got easier for me. Keep going, take your breaks during the exam, pace yourself, you got 5 hours. If you get to 150, don’t be discouraged, just know you’re still in the game!
