HBO and Starz (and likely Showtime) stream in 4k. Other channels' apps may as well. So it's noticeably higher quality than watching it via fios TV. As far as I know, HBO Does not stream in 4K. Two different things here. Your TV has a native resolution (4k) everything sent to it it will upscale to the native resolution.
