There's a "Slow HDD" toggle that seems more like a placebo than anything, and it turns itself off sometimes when you restart the game. But it *says* it can offset some of the loading by using extra RAM/VRAM. I just personally don't notice much of a difference, but otherwise playing on an HDD is just fine. 5. I've tested on both SSD (NVME Gen4) and a 7200RPM HDD (toshiba gaming performance) and my average loading is: NVME Gen4 SSD: 14-15 seconds. 7200RPM HDD: 17-19 seconds. So it's about 24% longer for me on HDD vs SSD.
