For instance using a vidar to kill Borg probes. Hands down the best crew is 7 of 10 with 8 and 9 of ten giving him full synergy. This allows my vidar to kill level 29 Borg probes and usually fill my cargo bay completely. Using this crew for any other use is useless. Only the vidar is good for fighting probes, and 7 only works on probes.
