I believe the process is (1) use the browse button to locate the firmware file on your computer, (2) click on the "upload" button to copy the file to the router, and (3) that will start the firmware update. Unfortunately, when I went to upgrade the router, I was stupid and used the original file contained in the BAD rbs50.zip, which of course, appeared to be the RBR50 2.7.3 firmware image.

Yes, I've heard of Orbi's auto-upgrade feature. Do you know the history thereof? Obviously not. At some point in the past after listening to users constantly whine and complain about forcing auto-update FW on everyone, NG changed their policy to where now the only FW that gets pushed automatically are those with major revisions that they feel would benefit all.Unfortunately an auto firmware update creates this problem and the entire system goes wrong with the Orbi most likely receiving a very corrupted firmware due to the system resetting when Orbi switches off in the update. killing the system dead! All we need is a switch to disable this option. Any help will be appreciated.
