There was also a three shot version of the Model 11 called a Sportsman. It would have a square backed receiver. The 48 Sportsman would have a rounded off receiver, much like an 1100 or 870. A Sportsman 58 would be much the same, but gas operated. It is a recoil shot gun make sure that the friction ring is not wore bad and mag tube has a light light coat of oil.
