Check all fuses associated as best I could, no blown fuses, not sure if the relays were all functioning. I disconnected the negative terminals on the battery, left to reset and reconnected, still nothing. If the alternator is doing it's job, the car should have continued to run once the cables were removed. Hook the jumpers back up, let the jump vehicle idle for 5-7 minutes before you try to start it, Then, give it a whirl. IF it starts, leave the cables on, and observe. There might also be some kind of partial short drawing the battery down.

Always starts first but won’t come back on after you turn off at gas station or after short drive. Brake is sort of hard can’t press through. No failure messages.It had some starting/idling issues. It was a 92 Dakota 3.9 v6 with 168k miles on it. Found out later that some wires under the throttle thing were shorting and thusly causing it to not idle/ stay running on cooler days.
