For instance you get hard clues (1/128) a hell of a lot more often than bandos or kree armor drops (1/127). But with the tertiary drop you're getting that roll as a bonus on every single kill regardless of other more common drop rolls.Bandos is pretty much the best in slot melee armor for general purpose. Other melee armors have higher defence, but lack the strength and prayer bonus. I would say yes, get Bandos, there's not much you're going to be able to buy for the cost that's going to be better, even if you bought a cheaper armor and a torture ammy.
