A couple tips: Abigail is a fantastic help. A mace will take care of most of what you see underground (I'm on master mode and the flaming mace is still doing great work). Does "getfixedboi" seed work on tmod? Does it work? Its a combo of every single hidden seed in the game and I dunno if it works cuz it doesnt load for me. It'll only work once tmodloader updates to 1.4.4 which is the Labour of Love update which added that seed.
Pattern is the same as in expert/master. Difference only in stats (more HP, a lot more contact damage) but be aware that almost every fishron attack does contact damage (for example bubbles are NPCs that deals contact damage, not projectiles).
