There are some that are visual only; just because the lines are there doesn't mean cars will park. Make sure you're using the correct assets from Parking Lot Roads mod. Also, in TM:PE, make sure you activate the Realistic Parking AI in the mod options from the game pause menu > options > mods > TM:PE > Gameplay tab > Enable more realistic parking.

Aesthetic. It's kind of a bummer because parking as a feature could have been really interesting. So the airport looks like real-life airports. The one near me has more than 30,000 parking spots, taking up a huge space. It wouldn't be realistic for a major airport to not have any parking at all. purely asthetic.
