Dec 4, 2021 · Elk has same in-game footprint as a horse, but has better stats, and a deadly charge. It doesn't become rideable until lvl 7, tho, which is roughly mid act 2. Personally, an Elk is much cooler than a horse, but.. up to you. I see alot of people recommending Leopard, and I want to agree with them.

Jan 1, 2022 · I'd recommend against arcane trickster, simply because thats the main class of one of the easier to get companions. As for damage, I don't think you'd lose too much if you went Sylvan sorcerer. Rather, what you'd probably miss out on is a few defenses (mainly resists) and a slightly wider spell selection. Which isn't the end of the world.

Your character builds might depend on alignment shifts. You will bump against the boundary with cheese even if you choose not to cheese. Sage sorcerer and lich has been the most fun combo I’ve done for now. Honestly any melee and Demon feels fantastic, I know technically it's in the bottom tier for paths. But thematically I love it. At least some of them got top tier stats this time around so if you can deal with just losing a level you can make some of them decent.
