I just acquired the new Ruger Marlin 336 and have found it to be an awesome piece of work. The trigger is heavy and I am certain that over time it will wear in. Any input on this new piece is appreciated. I also have the original Marlin 1936 in 30.30. IMO, without a photo, the 336 SC sounds like an older JM stamped Marlin. I've seen them in my area from $300-$400. The asking price doesn't seem to high.
