Yeah either I drop into a quest after a few seconds or if no open hunt exists people drop into mine in seconds if I make a new one. There is really no reason to join a lobby you get extra rewards dropping in to help others, get full rewards if you drop in part way through, and empty slots are filled right away so rage quitting isn't a problem.
