So far the only thing I have gotten from Husqvarna by emailing them is either. 'our mowers are engineered to be the best blah blah blah.' and with the lgt2654 I'm thinking it was more a sales decision than an engineering one. and 'that is the transmission that is built to work and use of any other transmission would void the warranty'
