Honda accord whining noise when accelerating.

Hello everyone, I am new here. I am not sure if this is an old topic but I am experiencing a whinning or “supercharger” like noise on sudden acceleration on my sport. Mileage is 27k. Usually happens when you suddenly step on the gas around 1800-3000 rpm, beyond that rpm noise goes away. Usually on 80-90s fahrenheit.Vehicle: 2007 Honda Accord coupe EX. Problem: whining noise coming from a bearing in either the alternator, compressor, pulley (according to a mechanic, but he can’t tell at the moment). There is a buzzing noise or whining noise, that I can hear while driving, when accelerating from 20-35. After 35 its gone and before 20 I don't hear it. It only happens when I step on gas, if I step off gas on 29 mph it stops but if I press down again on 27mph the sound is back until I hit pas 35 mph. I need help I don't know why it is doing this.

143 posts · Joined 2009. #25 · May 9, 2011. FIXED! Car went to dealership and had a bad right front wheel bearing. They replaced it and noise is gone. Something 2011 owners should be aware of. Maybe I was the unlucky winner but Im guess a batch of bad bearings is out there.

It sounded like the noise an airplane makes when its starting its take off - thats the best way I can describe it. My second 2012 Si (mid VIN) never had that noise.

The best way to describe it is that it sounds like the whine you would hear from plane engines. Maybe you’re hearing the spool from the turbo.
