I had purchased the LV6548's before the EG4 6500EX's but moved my array farther away (420 feet one way) and wanted a higher VOC rated inverter. Original firmware in the LV6548's. I do not use the LV6548's charge controllers. I added a pair of EG4 MPPT100-48 SCC's due to higher string voltage.
If I use only one MPPT/input on a EG4 6500ex-48 will the inverter be able to use more than 4000w? Say I have 2 PV strings in parallel inputting to a single MPPT input (other MPPT input not used) and the array is 380 VMP and amps are 17a. That could be 6460 watts into a single MPPT without exceeding the volt or amp limits.
