They used MDI2 GDS Software to conduct the requested relearn, however, the initial "counts" show 287 exceeding the max value of 285 per the GDS software, so now code P100B displays with CEL at ignition on, engine on.And now GM is moving to encryption of canbus data in an effort to stop hacking of any onboard modules. However when GM ditched the LML's piezoelectric injectors for the Denso solenoid injectors, they actually made controlling the L5P hardware with an older ECM much easier. The L5p was a very small exhaust side configuration, small up pipes, small exhaust turbo vanes, etc. So I am guessing the ECM was seeing some very high EGT’s and cut power to keep from melting pistons.
