About Us. THE West End Trading Co. opened on the City of Sanford's birthday on September 29, 2006. A great start in small town with so much promise, anchored by a few bars and restaurants such as the Hollerbach's Willow Tree Cafe. The West End Trading Co. grew quickly through the efforts of a great team and leadership. Imperial was the first bar I went to in Sanford and it was the perfect place to introduce me to downtown’s eclectic nightlife vibe. This place has a lovely, quirky setting. By day, it’s an artisan furniture store so by night, you can bliss out on old, painted stools or giant, oak benches. Stumbled upon this bar while walking around downtown Sanford and so glad I did. The outside and inside was so done up with christmas decorations. Garland strung, several christmas trees all lit, and lots of ornaments. Our party sat at the tables in the front of the bar. We all ordered from the curated christmas cocktail menu.Dining.
