Fished upper Prairie Lake this weekend. Ice was 5 inches but there was visible open water Thursday afternoon in front of Wolf’s Den and south towards Marine Corps Island. Weird conditions so stayed fairly close to shore. Ice was consistently five inches where we were though. The open water froze across on Friday.Waxing Gibbous. Cloudy 45°. Water: 40°. Rock Piles.
