I changed the chain case every 1200 miles lubed and adjusted the track every other ride and adjusted the belt when needed. Never even changed the plugs. Underneath the hood, install a fan or two in the black panel plastic panel that covers the underside of the gauges. Nov 17, 2008 · Test #1. If you can hold 5 psi for 10 mins with the PTO elbow cap off your inner PTO & MAG bearing seals are good. If air passes through the PTO elbow your inner PTO seal is leaking. There are varying degrees of inner seal leaking, slow leak means it hasn't failed completely but you are on borrowed time.
I thought it was odd that some Ski-doo cranks were letting loose at 2500 miles. From researching, many riders were getting 5,000 to even 9,000 miles out of their cranks. Some took the time to remove the PTO seal and grease the bearing, while others did not, and were lucky.

The Hot Rod Sled Shop has a small nipple that just screws on to the little 50 gram tubes of isoflex grease and works fine just squeezing the tube like you are squeezing tooth paste. It currently jumps to 7500rpm and creeps to 7600 after WOT for 20-30 seconds with the 1.6 ice cobra track on it.
