This is a common issue with screens prior to 2018. The screen needs to be replaced. It's not too much $$. Can be found at cuescreens.com. Or if you have warranty the Dealer would replace the whole CUE unit but it would most likely fail again.I did my own with the $179.00 screen. Trim tools are important as is the 7mm 1/4" drive socket and a skinny Phillips screwdriverand small needle nose pliers. After you remove it from the car, take your time and follow the video, especially when disconnecting and connecting the screen and front panel.I own a 2016 Cadillac ATS. On friday, my CUE went out as a result I have no heat, power steering, and the OnStar does not work. I am not sure what the issue is, but my warranty recently expired as I am 4,000 miles over. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the issue or solution to the problem.

Just got back from updating the CUE system on my ATS after 2days. The dealer was packed with people so I couldn't really test it too much onsite. After I got home I was trying everything out and everything seems to be working perfectly if not even better than before. Only issue am having is, now to A/C wont come through the main vents only the top.

Press and hold. Sometimes if you use a very old DVD it will swallow it and not eject it. It will not say no disc because there is a disc inside. Goto settings in cue and remove all devices from CarPlay list. Turn car off and open and close door to reset cue. Turn car on. Re-pair device to blue tooth. The screen can be purchased from amazon for $130, including pdf installation instructions. Be sure when searching for one that it has the amber-colored translucent areas at the bottom. These are for the proximity sensors.But, I noticed that the door seems to open when my finger tips are warmer vs cooler. I guess I could use touch sensitive. However, the device has to be able to detect the touch. I suspect some inanimate objects may not work. If the object is at the same or less temperature than the device, it may not recognize the touch. But, that is just a guess.
