Act ffxiv not working.
Biggest problem I had was that ACT needs to be allowed through the firewall. Add an exception by application and find the ACT exe. (there's several in the directory, I don't remember which, so try them one by one until you find it) Thank you! I changed my firewall settings to allow it and now it works perfectly again.

I have been using ACT in FFXIV for parsing and voice prompts (TTS) with triggers since around Stormblood release. After the most recent patch 4.4 none of my tts triggers work. The timer is working properly and does show the countdown and the placement for tts to go off properly but the tts will not work.EQAditu commented on Feb 3, 2021. After updating FFXIV, I went in to test tank DPS and it just plain didn't parse. Tried re-installing using the updated parse plugin and still nothing. It's also telling me under "Test game connection" that it cannot detect the game's memory signatures.There should be a matching update for ACT, afterwards you'll want to recheck your firewall settings. Check for updates. Latest patch seems to have broken it for me as of this afternoon. I’m sure the plugin will get updated. When you install the OverlayPlugin after the FFXIV_ACT_Plugin, the latter gets moved down in the load order (no idea if that's new or if it was like that all the time). Go to Plugins -> FFXIV Settings, check "Disable Parsing from Network Data". This is easy and results in very slightly worse parsing. Add an exception in Windows Firewall for ACT, and launch ACT as an admin whenever you run it.
