2019 traverse shift to park recall.
I had this happen on my 2019 Sierra. Same scenario there's a microswitch. In the sierra it's in the column at the base of the shifter handle. I swapped mine for a new one, but also wired in a bypass just in case the new one fails down the road. I've run it with this bypass on for months with no adverse effects present.

2018 Traverse Shift to Park. We have a 2018 Redline Traverse with 24000 miles on it. It has started saying "shift to park" on the screen even when it is in park. When this happens we cant lock it and it sits there and dings. Can get it to go off by wiggling the shifter but it is getting worse.
